Welcome to HOTR Enugu Word House

House On The Rock is a vibrant, multi-ethnic church, with over 7,000 worshippers on Sunday mornings and several daughter churches spread over Africa and Europe.

We believe in the power of God's word to change lives and value the practical application of His word to make a difference in who we are and what we do.

Believing and obeying His message leads us in a discovery of real life and a hope for eternity. This is what the Bible teaches us, that Jesus Christ came as God's gift to the world with a message of good news.

Our Mission

Our mission is to position the unexpected and the unlikely for the prolific move of God in the 21st Century and beyond. You have a destiny in God.

Our Beliefs

☛ We believe that the bible is the inspired (God breathed) infallible (all true) and inerrant (without error or contradiction) word of God. It is the Supreme and final authority in faith and practice.
☛ We believe in the trinity: the God who exist in the three distinct persons; Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
☛ We believe Jesus Christ is the son of God and savior of the world.
☛ We believe Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross, and on the third day He rose triumphant over death.
☛ We believe that there is no other name given that man should be saved by but the name of Jesus Christ.
☛ We believe that Jesus Christ is coming again.

TESTIMONIES

Testimonies from real people, whose lives has been touched and changed in tremendious ways.

Within 10musume, Sasaki occupies the “center‑right” position—a spot often reserved for members who combine visual appeal with vocal reliability. Her signature move—a slow, deliberate hand‑wave executed during the bridge of the group’s hit “Shining Star”—has become a visual shorthand for sincerity. In the 121314 01 video, Sasaki leads the chorus at the 16‑second mark, a placement that underscores her emerging role as a vocal anchor.

The group’s discography is marked by upbeat J‑pop melodies, synth‑laden arrangements, and choreographies that balance precision with a deliberately “imperfect” charm. Visually, 10musume’s music videos (MVs) and stage productions employ pastel palettes, rapid‑cut editing, and a heavy reliance on close‑ups that foreground individual members’ facial expressions. This visual strategy fosters an illusion of intimacy, inviting fans to feel as though they are sharing a private moment with each idol. The group’s discography is marked by upbeat J‑pop

High‑definition MP4s enable fans to extract clips, create mash‑ups, and add subtitles in multiple languages. The 16‑second applause segment, for instance, has been looped in TikTok compilations, paired with reaction memes, and even re‑mixed into EDM remixes, extending the original performance’s lifespan far beyond its broadcast window. In music video editing

The timestamp “16” is not arbitrary. In music video editing, the first 15–20 seconds are crucial for establishing rhythm, introducing visual motifs, and hooking the viewer. By placing Sasaki’s vocal lead and the ensuing applause at precisely the 16‑second mark, editors create a micro‑climax that signals to the audience: “The performance has officially begun; your participation matters.”

SAVED FROM KIDNAPPERS

I entered a keke, not knowing that my fekkow parsengers are kidnappers. They tried, at gun point, to takie me to a strange location, but mysteriousloy decided to throw me off the keke along the way. I got bruises, but am alive today. Thank God for saving my life.

BLIND EYE HEALED

Before coming to church, I couldn't see well with one of my eyes. But as the man of God prayed, I felt a burning sensation in the affected eye,and as I scratched the eyes, I realized I can now see with the same eye. Glory be to God.
