Voice over needs tight dynamics. Whispers should be audible; shouts should not blow out eardrums. A ratio of 3:1 or 4:1 is standard for voice. adobe audition presets for voice over

Effect: Dynamics Processing This is the most critical preset for VO. It compresses the loud parts to match the quiet parts, raising the overall perceived volume.

Gain: Add +3dB to +5dB of output gain to make up for the volume lost during compression.
