Windows 11 no longer supports the old intl.cpl keyboard installer for non-Unicode layouts. Here’s the manual method:

Method A: Using Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator (MSKLC) – Recommended Akruti 7.0 For Windows 11

Method B: Registry Hack – For Advanced Users Windows 11 no longer supports the old intl

  • Restart and add the keyboard via Settings > Time & Language > Typing > Advanced Keyboard.
  • When moving documents to modern apps, prefer Unicode output.
  • Once installed, test with these steps:

    ✅ If you see correct Hindi glyphs, installation is successful.
    ❌ If you see boxes or English letters, the keyboard layout is not active. Go back to Step 2. Method B: Registry Hack – For Advanced Users

    Common Test Phrase: Type jgk qq n → Should produce नमस्ते (Namaste).
