In the early 2000s, ArtCAM Pro 9.1 used a parallel port or USB hardware lock (dongle). These physical keys can still be found on eBay, CNC forums, or industrial surplus auctions.

Some “working” downloads include a USB dongle emulator (like HASP Emulator or Sentemul 2007). These require installing a kernel-mode driver, which is extremely risky on a modern system.
