After installing the language pack, do not look for a “Switch Language” button inside the software.

Launch the one you need. Each has its own profile and settings.

A French language pack for AutoCAD provides translated user interface elements, menus, dialog boxes, tooltips, help files, and printer/style templates so the application displays and operates in French while keeping the core program files intact. Language packs let users run the same AutoCAD installation with a localized UI without reinstalling a full localized product.

If you manage multiple computers or need a permanent French environment, consider downloading the full AutoCAD installer with French as the base language from Autodesk Account. That eliminates the need for language packs and reduces potential conflicts.

The language pack must match your installed AutoCAD version and update/patch level. If you have installed AutoCAD 2024.1.2 Update, the language pack must also be for 2024.1.2. Mixing versions leads to installation failure or UI bugs.
