ELINA You want the necklace? You can have it!
(Elina lunges for the necklace in the cauldron. The magic is too strong—it burns her hands.)

Laverna (laughing): "The Enchantress is old and blind to the truth. Give me the locket, little fairy, and I might let you keep your flower."
Elina: "Never."
[Laverna lunges, but Elina uses the locket to create a shield of light.]
Laverna, played with icy perfection, explains her plan.
Laverna: "Fairytopia is sick, and they are all blaming me. Well, let them. Soon, they will all bow to me. The Enchantress took my magic. I am returning the favor by taking her life." Dandelion (Helping Laverna): "But the Enchantress is the source of all magic. If she dies, Fairytopia dies." Laverna: "Precisely. Then I will build a new Fairytopia. A gray one. Gray is so much easier to control."
