Rather than rolling a full new major version (like 3.2.1), Cisco quietly updated the downloadable image on the software portal. The new file is identical to the original in terms of feature set and patch level—except it includes the necessary hotfix to prevent the installation/join failure.

The “Fixed” label is Cisco’s way of telling you: “Download this one, not the original ISO.”

To avoid partial downloads, use:

This is the most critical step for the "Fixed" request. While browsing the 3.2 downloads, switch the filter to "Patches" or look for files ending in .patch or listed under the patch update section.


In the search bar, type "Identity Services Engine" or simply "ISE".
