One of the biggest draws is the preservation of "old gold." From black-and-white classics featuring Dilip Kumar or Madhubala to vintage Pakistani dramas from the PTV era, DesiVDOClub is perceived as a time capsule for generations who grew up in the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s.

The "Club" part of DesiVDOClub is literal. Subscribers get access to live Zoom sessions with directors. You aren't just watching a movie about a rickshaw driver in Kolkata; you are asking the director how they filmed it.
