To appreciate the repack, one must understand the band's importance. Formed in the early 1970s in Linares, Nuevo León, the duo of Homero Guerrero (accordion, vocals) and Catarino Leos (bajo sexto, vocals) created over 30 studio albums. Their most famous hit, "El Palomito" (The Little Dove), remains a staple in Mexican funerals and rodeos.
However, their official discography is a mess. Record labels like DLV, Ramex, and CBS often reissued the same 10 songs under different album titles.
