The keyword specifies "original link" for a very good reason. Over the past decade, hundreds of fan-made patches (like SuperPatch, Firebird, or PES 6 Evolution) replaced the original audio with low-bitrate MP2 files, incorrect track mappings, or even silence to save disk space.
When you download a modded 0_sound.afs, you risk:
The original 0_sound.afs (often around 300–400 MB) is verified to work with any clean installation of PES 6 and is compatible with most modern patches that rely on the original audio structure.
That means you downloaded a disc image. You need to extract 0_sound.afs using AFS Explorer or DKZ Studio. Open the .iso with 7-Zip, navigate to /dat/, and extract the file.
Navigate to your PES 6 root folder (e.g., C:\Program Files\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 6\dat). Rename your existing 0_sound.afs to 0_sound_backup.afs.
If you use Kitserver 6 or Sider, you must run afs2fs.exe or map_creator.exe to rebuild the audio mapping. Otherwise, the game may still read from an external audio folder.
