Most mods built for v1.40 work on v1.41, but mods for v1.42+ will break the game. Use mods dated around June–September 2021.

To keep v1.41 from updating, set the game’s update settings to “Only update this game when I launch it” – but always launch the game from the .exe file directly, not through Steam’s green “Play” button.
