മലയാലിപി (പുരുഷന്):
അല്ലാഹുമ്മഗ്ഫിർ ലഹു വർഹംഹു, വ ആഫിഹി വഅ്ഫു അൻഹു, വ അക്രിം നുസുലഹു വ വസ്സി അ മദ്ഖലഹു, വഗ്സിൽഹു ബിൽമാഇ വത്തൽജി വൽബറദി, വ നഖ്ഖിഹി മിനൽ ഖതായ കമാ യുനഖ്ഖസ്ഥൗബുൽ അബ്യദു മിനദ്ദനസ്.

അർത്ഥം:
"അല്ലാഹുമ്മേ, ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിന് പൊറുത്തുകൊടുക്കുകയും കരുണ ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്യേണമേ. അദ്ദേഹത്തെ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുക. വെള്ളം, മഞ്ഞ്, ആലിപ്പഴം എന്നിവ കൊണ്ട് കഴുകുക. വെള്ള വസ്ത്രം അഴുക്കിൽ നിന്ന് വെളുപ്പിക്കും പോലെ പാപങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുക."

(സ്ത്രീയാണെങ്കിൽ 'ലഹു' എന്നതിന് പകരം 'ലഹാ' – 'ലഹു' = പുരുഷന്, 'ലഹാ' = സ്ത്രീക്ക്)

കുട്ടിക്കുള്ള ദുആ:
അല്ലാഹുമ്മജ്അൽഹു ലനാ ഫറത്വൻ വ സലഫൻ വ അജ്റാ.

അർത്ഥം: "അല്ലാഹുമ്മേ, ഇദ്ദേഹത്തെ (ഈ കുഞ്ഞിനെ) ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് (പരലോകത്ത്) മുന്നിൽ ചെന്നെത്തുന്നവനും പ്രതിഫലവുമാക്കേണമേ."

Before the prayer, you must make a firm intention in your heart. You do not need to say it aloud.

After the first Takbir, recite Thana (Sana) followed by Salawat (Durood).

Arabic:

سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ، وَتَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ، وَتَعَالَى جَدُّكَ، وَلَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُكَ

Then: اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

Malayalam (ഉച്ചാരണം):

"Subhaanakal laahumma wa bi hamdika, wa tabaarakas muka, wa ta'aalaa jadduka, wa laa ilaaha ghairuka."

Then: "Allaahumma salli alaa Muhammadin wa alaa aali Muhammadin."

Meaning (Malayalam):

എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, നിന്റെ സ്തുതിയോടെ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ പ്രകീർത്തിക്കുന്നു. നിന്റെ നാമം എത്ര അനുഗ്രഹീതമാണ്. നിന്റെ മഹത്വം ഉന്നതമാണ്. നീയല്ലാതെ ആരാധനക്കർഹനില്ല. ഇതിനുശേഷം: അല്ലാഹുമ്മേ, മുഹമ്മദിനും മുഹമ്മദിൻ്റെ കുടുംബത്തിനും നീ അനുഗ്രഹം ചൊരിയേണമേ. janazah prayer dua pdf malayalam

The Prophet ﷺ taught specific supplications. A comprehensive, commonly used du‘ā’ in the Shāfi‘ī tradition (after the 3rd takbīr) is:

Arabic:
Allāhumma ghfir liḥayyinā wa mayyitinā, wa shāhidinā wa ghā’ibinā, wa ṣaghīrinā wa kabīrinā, wa dhakarinā wa unthānā. Allāhumma man aḥyaytahu minnā fa aḥyihi ‘alal-Islām, wa man tawaffaytahu minnā fa tawaffahu ‘alal-īmān. Allāhumma lā taḥrimnā ajrahu wa lā taftinnā ba‘dah.

Meaning in English:
O Allah, forgive our living and our dead, those present and those absent, our young and our old, our males and our females. O Allah, whoever among us You keep alive, let him live upon Islam, and whoever You cause to die, let him die upon faith. O Allah, do not deprive us of his reward, and do not cause us to go astray after him.

For a deceased child, du‘ā’ requests: Allāhumma ij‘alhu faratan wa dhukhran liwālidayhi (Make him a preceding reward and a stored treasure for his parents).

The Janazah prayer consists of four Takbeers (saying "Allahu Akbar") and does not involve Ruku (bowing) or Sujood (prostration).
