Install — Juq496

Hold the card by its edges. Align the gold contacts with the PCIe slot. Press down evenly with firm, steady pressure until the retention clip clicks. Do not rock the card side to side – this can damage the slot.

Windows might try to install a generic driver. Cancel it. Generic drivers will cause the JUQ496 to work at 1/10th of its speed or fail completely. Note: Some JUQ496 variants require an additional SATA

(Linux users: Run sudo make uninstall from the driver source directory.)


After installation, verify that juq-496 is correctly installed and can be used. This might involve running a command or executing a simple program.
