A coup in the submerged nation of Atlantis threatens to break the magical barriers holding back an ancient leviathan called The Drowned God. Aquaman requests League aid but refuses “surface interference.”
The Team: Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Mera, and The Atom (Ray Palmer) shrink to microscopic size to repair the failing magical seals from within the leviathan’s own cells.
The Conflict: Aquaman’s pride clashes with Wonder Woman’s diplomacy. He wants to sacrifice the rebel city to save the rest of Atlantis. Wonder Woman insists on a third option. The Atom, working inside the beast, finds a way to redirect the Drowned God’s prison rather than destroy it.
