Let’s get the big question out of the way: Is it stable? Yes – for a Meteor release. The 1.21 branch is currently in release candidate phase (available via their official GitHub or launcher). You won’t find the sheer volume of addons that 1.20.4 had, but the core modules are rock-solid.
Key technical change – The entire item/NBT system was overhauled in 1.21. Meteor’s devs had to rewrite anything touching inventory, creative flight, or dupe mechanics. As a result, some legacy exploits are dead. Others… have already been reborn.
The mace isn’t just a meme weapon. Meteor’s updated KillAura now calculates fall-distance multipliers. Land a hit from 30+ blocks? The aura can predict trajectory and snap. Meanwhile, Velocity has a new “wind charge resistance” toggle – no more getting knocked into ravines.
