In Minecraft, advanced computers run Lua. The memory is tiny (typically 128-512 KB). A "cold" MIDI file won't fit. The "hot" conversion focuses on streaming—loading notes in chunks from the disk (or Pocket computers) rather than loading the whole song into RAM.
