You set out with a stone axe, a leather tunic, and a sense that routine routes will reward different discoveries.

The mace is the first new weapon since the crossbow. It’s slow. It’s heavy. It’s glorious.

How to get it: Combine a heavy core (from trial spawners) with a breeze rod.

Special move: Smash down from a height. The longer you fall, the more damage you do.

Bring shields and area-of-effect weapons (like potions or a wind-charged mace). Trial spawners love to summon bogged (poison skeletons) and breeze together for maximum annoyance.


The beta introduced a new copper-and-tuff brick dungeon.
