Minecraft Dungeons -nsp Update 1.1.0.0- < Hot | 2024 >

While Season 1 (the free track) was mostly backend, Update 1.1.0.0 introduced the Vendor Merchant and Gift Wrappers to the camp. It also adjusted the daily trial rotation logic to match the PC servers.

A major source of confusion in the modding and homebrew community is the numbering.

Why the difference? The NSP container uses a sequential "Title Version" for the Switch operating system (1.0.0, 1.1.0, 2.0.0, etc.), while Mojang uses semantic versioning for the game logic inside. Minecraft Dungeons -NSP Update 1.1.0.0-

Update 1.1.0.0 (NSP) falls into the "Jungle Awakens" / "Creeping Winter" era, bridging the gap between the base game and the first two major DLC packs.

Update version: 1.1.0.0
Base game required: Yes While Season 1 (the free track) was mostly backend, Update 1

Released in late July 2020 (following the PC/console parity patch), Update 1.1.0.0 is the first major content drop post-launch. While the base game offered a solid 7–10 hour campaign, the repetition set in quickly. Version 1.1.0.0 shattered that repetition by introducing a new biome, new mobs, a new boss, and the "Daily Trials" system.

Without installing Minecraft Dungeons -NSP Update 1.1.0.0-, you cannot access the Creeping Winter or Howling Peaks DLCs, nor can you play online with users on the latest version. Why the difference

These are modified versions of existing missions (including the new Jungle ones) with specific modifiers, such as:

Completing these trials rewards you with guaranteed unique items. For Switch players, this massively increased the replayability. The update also added Suspicious Chests (green chests that require a key) and a new vendor in camp who sells random high-tier gear for emeralds.
