Not all Blu-rays are created equal. Many early 2000s anime or poorly mastered shows suffer from terrible "banding" (ugly stair-step gradients in the sky), heavy noise, or dull, washed-out colors.

Moozzi2 usually works from the best available sources, often the Japanese BDMV (Blu-ray Disc Movie Volume) or DVD ISO files. Unlike many groups that re-encode other people's releases to save space, Moozzi2 encodes straight from the raw disc data. moozzi2 anime
