New In City -v0.1- By Dangames

Forget static prices. In New in City -v0.1-, the cost of a slice of pizza can fluctuate based on weather, gang activity, or even the time of day. Savvy players have learned to buy canned goods in the morning and sell old electronics during the evening rush hour. This economic tension is the heart of the gameplay loop.

Only 3 jobs are fully implemented. Each requires a stat check to unlock.

As reported by players of v0.1. Patch may or may not be coming.

| Bug | Workaround | |-----|-------------| | Game freezes when talking to Juno | Do not click "Ask about her life." Skip that dialogue option. | | Hygiene stat resets to 0% after shower | Reload save. If persists, use gym shower ($6). | | Cannot sleep even with low Energy | Exit room and re-enter. Then click the bed twice. | | Rent payment doesn't register | Talk to Marina twice on Day 7. Pay again (yes, you lose $60 total). Plan extra money. | | Diner Cook shift won't start | Arrive at Evening exactly (not earlier). If still bugged, work Motel Cleaner that morning first. |

General stability: Save every in-game night before sleeping. Do not alt-tab during dialogue.

You have four stats that decay over time. If any reaches 0, you get a "Game Over" (you pass out, get sick, or get evicted).

| Stat | Starts At | Decay Rate | How to Increase | |------|-----------|------------|------------------| | Hunger | 70% | -5% per in-game hour | Eat at diner ($8-$15) or buy snacks ($3) | | Energy | 80% | -4% per hour, -15% if working | Sleep in motel room (free) or coffee ($5, gives +10 but -2 hunger) | | Hygiene | 60% | -2% per hour, extra -10% after work | Shower at motel (free, once per day) or gym ($6) | | Social | 30% | -1% per hour, -20% if alone all day | Talk to any NPC (even cashier) for +5 per interaction |

Critical Rule: Social is the hardest to maintain in v0.1 because few NPCs are implemented. Talk to the motel manager every morning even if you have nothing to say.

Stat UI Bug: Sometimes the bars don't update visually. Click the "Stats Detail" button to see exact numbers.
