The "Erc" Code: If your screen shows a small 16-digit code at the top, you might also need an ERC Unlock Code once you get the software running.
Avoid "Repacks": Be careful with "repack" or "verified free" labels on random file-sharing sites; these are often magnets for malware. It is much safer to get a direct folder copy from a fellow Toyota owner.
