The Opnander Medical CPR system is designed to work with any biphasic defibrillator (Zoll, Philips, Physio-Control). When the defibrillator announces "Analyzing rhythm," the Opnander retracts the piston for 2 seconds to allow artifact-free ECG analysis. If a shock is advised, the device remains retracted until the shock is delivered, then immediately resumes compressions—no human re-positioning required.
