New engines shed metal particles during break-in.
This generator uses a "Splash Lubrication" system. Running it with low oil will seize the engine.
When you purchase a "new" PowerCraft 3200 DV, the package should include the following components. Check this list against your box immediately:

Some DV models include a 12V battery for electric start. Ensure the battery cables are connected properly (Red to Positive, Black to Negative).
