The transition to 8K/12K resolution and raw codecs (e.g., REDCODE, ARRIRAW) has created a demand for storage arrays that combine massive throughput with extreme thermal resilience. This paper introduces the SeeHD24 — a 24-drive, 2U chassis supporting concurrent hot-swap of NVMe/HDD hybrids. We analyze the “hot” aspect in two dimensions: (1) operational temperature tolerance up to 65°C without throttling, and (2) live-swap capability under full load. Our results show that the SeeHD24 sustains 22 GB/s read/18 GB/s write while maintaining drive delta-T below 15°C via a novel staggered airflow path. seehd24 hot
