Trimble Navigation acquired SketchUp from Google in April 2012. This era saw the modernization of the codebase and a shift toward cloud integration and subscription licensing.

Technically a transitional version, but released right as Trimble took over. Google sold SketchUp to Trimble Inc. in April 2012, but the first Trimble-branded version didn't drop until 2013.
