  • Installation Method: File replacement or merging into the root game directory.

    • Cause: YOU MUST have the strings folder updated. The Hunter's fractured alien speech uses specific string indexes. Fix: Ensure the Data\Strings folder contains <lang>.dlstrings files. Do not delete the English ones; the game falls back to them.

    The RUNE crack uses a file named steam_emu.ini located in the Starfield folder (not to be confused with the Steam client). Open this file with Notepad.

    Look for the line: Language=english
