True thermal imaging requires expensive hardware. The Supereye Camera App takes a different approach. It analyzes the ambient light levels and contrast ratios to create a pseudo-color thermal map. The algorithm identifies hot spots (high light intensity) as red/white and cold spots (shadowed areas) as blue/black.
