Taalcompleet is a comprehensive learning method developed specifically for highly educated adults who wish to learn Dutch. The series is widely used in language schools and for self-study. The A2 level book focuses on the elementary stage of language learning.

At the A2 level, a learner progresses from basic survival phrases to being able to handle simple, routine exchanges. The Taalcompleet A2 method covers the grammar, vocabulary, and practical skills necessary to pass the Staatsexamen NT2 Programma I.

Used TaalCompleet A2 books cost €15–25. Just ensure unused access codes aren’t required – the main book works fine without them.

Websites promising "free downloads" of expensive textbooks are often riddled with malware, pop-up ads, and phishing attempts. Clicking on these links can compromise your computer’s security.

Even if you find a PDF of the textbook text, you will likely miss out on the most important component: the online access code. The listening and speaking exercises in Taalcompleet are heavily integrated into the online platform. A PDF alone will not provide the audio files required to complete the lessons, rendering the material incomplete for self-study.
