Just like Violet is to Lee, Slim Bob is a lighter, faster version of the heavy-hitting Bob. After losing weight, Slim Bob sacrifices raw power for incredible speed, wall-carry potential, and combo extensions. He plays radically differently from normal Bob and was initially a pre-order bonus for Tekken 6 save owners.
Note on Snoop Dogg: You may see references to Snoop Dogg as DLC. While Snoop Dogg appears as a stage background character and a non-playable cameo in the PlayStation-exclusive "Tekken Tunes" mode, he is not a playable fighter. Do not confuse him with these four characters.
Due to the restrictions above, players have limited options to access these characters: --- Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Dlc Characters Ps3 Download
A. Physical Disc (Region Specific) In later print runs, Bandai Namco released physical copies of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 that included a download code for the characters printed on the manual insert. However, given the age of the game (2012), any unused codes found in physical boxes today have almost certainly expired.
B. "Complete Edition" (Re-releases) In certain regions (most notably Japan and parts of Asia), a physical "Complete Edition" was released. This disc contains all DLC characters and stages on the disc itself, requiring no download. This is currently the most reliable way to own all characters legally. Just like Violet is to Lee, Slim Bob
C. Console Modding / CFW
For users with modified PS3 consoles (Custom Firmware), the DLC packages (often labeled as .pkg files) are archived within the preservation community. This is the only method to install the characters on a console that did not previously own them, though it violates Sony's Terms of Service.
A common question: If I buy these PS3 DLC characters now, can I use them on PS4 or PS5? Note on Snoop Dogg: You may see references
No. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 was never re-released for PS4 or PS5. Sony’s backwards compatibility does not work for PS3 discs or digital games natively (except via PlayStation Plus Premium cloud streaming, and that version does NOT support the DLC characters).
Thus, the only way to play Kunimitsu, Ancient Ogre, Violet, or Slim Bob is on original PS3 hardware with the DLC installed. If you sell your PS3, you lose access permanently.
Subject: Availability and Acquisition of DLC Characters Platform: PlayStation 3 (PS3) Status: Delisted/Limited Availability
Unlike modern fighting games that launch with a Season Pass, TTT2’s DLC was released as optional, individual purchases. There are four major DLC characters (plus palette swaps and pre-order exclusives) that were never available on the disc.
