Joining two words or letters. The most basic types for lower classes are:
గుణసంధి: When ‘అ’ (ac) is followed by ‘ఇ/ఈ/ఉ/ఊ’, they change to ‘ఎ/ఒ’ respectively.
యణాదేశ సంధి: When vowels ‘ఇ/ఈ/ఉ/ఊ/ఋ’ are followed by dissimilar vowels, the letters ‘య/వ/ర’ are introduced.

This is arguably the hardest section for Class 8-10 students.
