Uninstall Renpy

Step 1 – Locate Ren'Py folder
Default locations: C:\renpy-8.0.3-sdk or wherever you extracted it.

Step 2 – Delete main directory

Step 3 – Remove user data

Step 4 – Check for leftover shortcuts

Verification:

If you installed Ren’Py via apt, dnf, or pacman (rare), use:

# Debian/Ubuntu
sudo apt remove renpy
A simple restart releases file locks held by the OS or other programs. uninstall renpy
On Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Fedora, Arch), Ren’Py is distributed as a .tar.bz2 archive. No package manager is used unless you manually installed via a PPA (rare).

Still in the Library folder, navigate to ~/Library/Caches/ and delete any RenPy folder.
Right-click the folder and select Delete, then empty your Recycle Bin. Step 1 – Locate Ren'Py folder Default locations:
Use pkill or close the terminal window running Ren’Py.
