One of the most profitable aspects of Indonesian entertainment is live streaming. Apps like Bigo Live allow ordinary people to broadcast from their bedrooms. Viewers buy virtual "gifts" (diamonds, cars, fireworks) that translate into real money for the streamer. For many young Indonesians in rural areas, this has become a viable career path, though it raises concerns about digital gambling and exploitation.
