vJoy is a legitimate tool used by thousands of simmers, developers, and disabled gamers for accessibility (e.g., controlling a joystick with eye-tracking software). However, some users attempt to use vJoy to cheat in competitive games by:

Warning: Many multiplayer games, especially competitive shooters and MMOs, consider feeding artificial input through vJoy as a violation of their Terms of Service. While vJoy itself is not malware, using it to gain an unfair advantage can result in permanent bans. Open vJoyConfig.xml in Notepad as Administrator. Look for <NumDevices>1</NumDevices> and change to <NumDevices>2</NumDevices>. Then reboot. Each device will appear separately and can be configured individually.
