Wow 3.3.5 Ui Addons ●

Whether you are jumping into a fresh Icecrown realm, reliving the glory days on a Cata classic server preparing for the past, or just want that authentic 3.3.5 experience, the right UI can make or break your raid performance.

The 3.3.5 patch was arguably the peak of the "Classic" era for addons. We had the utility of modern addons without the over-automation of Retail.

Here is a curated list of the best UI addons for version 3.3.5, categorized by function.

Recount is ancient. Skada is fine. Details! is faster, more accurate, and still actively updated for 3.3.5.
Track DPS, HPS, interrupts, deaths, cooldowns, and more — all in a sleek window. wow 3.3.5 ui addons

Alternatives: PitBull4, X-Perl (deprecated) Unit frames (Player, Target, Target-of-Target, Party, Pet) are critical. SUF for 3.3.5 is the most robust option. It lets you:

Avoid X-Perl in 3.3.5; it is notoriously buggy in Icecrown Citadel (specifically the Sindragosa fight). SUF is modern, clean, and bug-free.

The predecessor to WeakAuras. Some veteran 3.3.5 players prefer it because it requires less memory (RAM). It uses a simple icon-and-texture system. If you don't want to learn LUA coding for WeakAuras, use Power Auras. Whether you are jumping into a fresh Icecrown

Here’s what I run (non-ElvUI, mostly standalone):

Bottom center: Dominos (2 bars, 12 buttons each)
Right side: Details (dps meter)
Above Details: Grid2 (party/raid)
Bottom right: Minimap (square, faded)
Player/target frames: Default + Quartz cast bar
Tooltip: Mouse anchor
Bags: Bagnon (bottom right corner)

No unit frame addon (PitBull/X-Perl). The default player/target frames are fine if you move + resize them with MoveAnything.

The default minimap is a square eyesore. SexyMap rounds the corners, adds a rotating compass, and allows custom borders and zoom levels. More importantly, it moves the minimap buttons (Calendar, Dungeon Finder) into a collapsible menu, uncluttering your screen. Recount is ancient

This combination will make your 3.3.5 client look like a modern, professional esports UI.

1. Grid + Clique If you are a healer, this is the setup. Grid gives you a tiny, compact box for every raid member. Clique allows you to bind spells to mouse clicks (Right-click = Flash of Light, Shift+Left-click = Cleanse).

2. PitBull Unit Frames If you want full control over how your health bars look (want a giant portrait? want the class color to pulse?), PitBull is the powerhouse. It takes longer to configure, but the results are beautiful.
