Traditional crossfading between two sounds is called morphing. XHroovy introduces Spectral Morphing. You can load a vocal sample and a bass drum. The XHroovy engine will analyze the harmonic structure of both and generate a third, hybrid sound—often producing textures that sound alien yet musical.

Load XHroovy Synth and start with the "Euro Rave" preset bank. Turn off the reverb (XHroovy's reverb is intentional for space, but less is often more here). Use the "Acid Step" sequencer built into the synth to generate 303-style patterns without the harsh resonance.

Before writing, verify that “xhroovy” truly has no established meaning.
