Super Bomberman R 2 Switch Nsp Update -

Konami has announced that support for Super Bomberman R 2 will continue through Q1 2025. Dataminers have found strings in the v2.2.0 NSP referencing:

Update v2.3.0 is expected in October 2024, adding Halloween-themed stages and a new “Bomb Soccer” limited event.


For competitive players: Yes. The 2.2.0 update fixes the disastrous lag that plagued Battle 64 at launch. The new traps in Castle mode have revitalized the community level-sharing servers. SUPER BOMBERMAN R 2 Switch NSP UPDATE

For casual players: Maybe. If you only play 4-player local versus mode, the update is relatively minor. However, the stability improvements for the Shop (which is always online, even in local play) make navigating the cosmetic menus much less frustrating.

Note: You cannot skip updates. To install v2.2.0, your base game must be at least v1.1.0 or higher. Some CFW tools allow direct upgrading via Goldleaf or Tinfoil. Update v2
